Made For Life treatments, an in-depth look

We are proud to be able to offer a range of Made For Life treatments here at Elements Boutique Spa and we want to share with you why we offer these treatments and how you can benefit from them if you are living with, or recovering from cancer.

The ethos is one of healthy and wholesome living. Everything, from the recycled glass bottles and jars to the organic ingredients used, are each all a testament to their values. 

The ethos also extends to the Made For Life Foundation which supports those living with and recovering from cancer. They offer holistic support to people throughout their cancer journey, whether newly diagnosed, living with cancer and treatment, or in recovery.  

Did you know that some types of cancerous cells can invade and destroy the surrounding healthy tissue and there are more than 200 different types of cancer? It is currently estimated that 1 in 2 people in the UK will get cancer in their lifetime. With that in mind, we believe it is of utmost importance that as a nation we should offer a support network for those whose lives have been rocked by cancer. With understanding, compassion, respect and most of all - finding that inner strength, we can all support someone with cancer. And that includes the loved ones of a person living with cancer, too.  

There are many different types of treatments for cancer including surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, various cancer drugs, hormone therapy, stem cell and bone marrow transplants, immunotherapy and gene therapy. It is also important to not only treat the condition but also address the mental wellbeing of the patient, and that of those around them. The holistic and organic origins of Made For Life treatments do just that.  

What do our treatments offer?  

A moment to disconnect from the world 

Offering Made For Life treatments means that as a spa, we are able to open our doors to people facing cancer and provide them with a tranquil and peaceful experience. The two treatments offered at Elements Boutique Spa are nurturing and calming, with slow and gentle rituals to nourish.  


The Hand on Heart treatment is a 60-minute experience which incorporates the back, shoulders, face and scalp.  








Touch therapy lasts for 30 minutes and uses a sequence of relaxation techniques on an area of your choice.   








The team at Elements Boutique Spa have had full training and can confidently treat guests with respect and dignity during what is often a very challenging time.  

The specially designed products can be purchased at the spa so treatments can be continued once you have gone home. Whenever you need an escape from daily stress to reconnect with yourself and focus on wellbeing.
